Headshots, Aaron's widow, Gayle, comes to ask his mother Vera to testify in her suit against the US government, on the grounds that Aaron had PTSD. But is that an "explanation" for his suicide that Vera can accept and live with?
 
Headshots has had readings at the Trellis Project of the Greenhouse Theatre in Chicago, 2016, Chicago Dramatists, and Pulse Ensemble Theatre in New York, both 2017.

Morality Play, book and lyrics by Burroway, with music by Curtis Powell and Matthew K. Kiedrowski, a musical adaptation of the Barry Unsworth novel of that name is under development in Chicago. It had its first fully rehearsed and sung public reading in 2012, on an NEA grant under the auspices of the Light Opera Works in Evanston, IL.
